Pocahontas State Park

Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield County is an awesome destination for those of you who love the outdoors.  Many people in the Richmond area aren't familiar with everything the park offers.  Swimming at the Pool and Aquatic Recreation Center from Memorial Day through Labor Day, canoe, kayak, and rowboat rentals, fishing, hiking, biking, camping, and more right outside the city.  Even people familiar with the park aren't necessarily familiar with everything it offers.  So check out the website, you might find something fun to do this weekend!
